Your Role: Be the Maverick We're Looking For!
We're not just hiring a Fullstack Software Engineer. We're seeking a visionary as hungry for success as we are. This isn't just another engineering role; this is a co-pilot seat on a rocket ship aimed at disrupting the sales industry. At Loyee.ai, you'll work side-by-side with the founding team, exercise creative freedom, and have the chance to map, build, and manage your own projects and team as we scale.
What You'll Do:
- Ship exceptional, thoughtful features and code!
- Primarily work on web frontend and backend with guaranteed opportunities to develop into other areas - data engineering, DevOps, software architecture, ML-related features (vector databases + LLMs)
- Build, coach, and lead your own team of engineers as we scale.
- Help make strategic decisions about what to build, why, and when, as well as how to approach business challenges associated with early-stage startups
- Collaborate directly with the cofounders on what to build and how to build it, and really all things relating to the business
- Drive the engineering and product roadmaps based on customer feedback and thoughtful analysis
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or other relevant fields.
- 3+ years of post-graduate, full-time experience as a Fullstack engineer building modern web applications
- Experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, or other JavaScript-based technologies
- Experience with at least one relational database system
- Experience with third-party API integrations, API design, and data modeling
- Experience with AWS services especially serverless
- Strong understanding of the value of writing clean, maintainable software, including documentation
- Basic knowledge in DevOps – building CI pipelines, IaC (e.g. AWS SAM / CDK), Docker / Container technology
- A passion for building something incredible from the ground up
Bonus Points:
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Experience with any of the following: NextJS, NestJS, Pulumi, Terraform, LLMs, Vector databases, AWS Sagemaker, and microservices.
- 2+ years of experience with an early-stage VC-backed startup, ideally B2B SaaS or Sales Tech
- Experience in Python - data analytics, data engineering, and ML/AI
- Experience with native Salesforce (REST & APEX) and Hubspot APIs
Location
- Loyee.ai is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area but operates as a global team. You will be working closely with our engineering leaders located in Germany.
